How to get there:
Distance from Cape Town - 687km. From Cape Town take the N2. Take exit onto Settlers Way. Continue onto N2 entering toll zone in 184km leaving toll zone in 186km. Continue straight to stay on N2. Turn left to stay on N2. Take exit onto Knysna Street. Continue onto N2 partial toll road. Take exit 665 for R330 towards Humansdorp/Hankey. Turn right at R330 (signs for R330/Humansdorp) Take the R330 for 5km. Turn right onto the R102. 7.4km from Humansdorp to Paradysstrand. Drive for 3.7km - turn right into Johan miller Boulevard. Turn right into Dolphin Street.

Depending on banks and tides, this spot is great on a South Westerly. Consistent wave in the corner against the reef. Watchout for the reef at low tide or you will lose a fin on the rocks.On an East this spot is also great but tends to be a little onshore. Kiting is safe in summer as the wind is sideshore or cross onshore. In winter, the east, which is the onshore wind blows seldom and the south west becomes a cross offshore west wind. Watchout for the currents which pull you out to sea.

You can rig on the on the beach below the car park. There are generally never surfers here.
